Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a maintenance professional to keep patient rooms clean, safe, and fully functional. You will maintain equipment, monitor work orders, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to support a healthy hospital environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Healthcare facility experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of supplies, equipment, ordering process.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• 3 to 5 years Maintenance experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
• Previous maintenance experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Painting, plumbing, mechanical, heating/AC experience.
• High School diploma, GED, and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Ability to direct staff and keep projects on schedule.
