Job Description:

Under supervision, performs outside and inside painting of buildings, structures, and equipment; and performs related work as required.

Responsibilities include removing old paint, washing and cleaning surfaces in preparation for painting, painting interiors and exteriors of public buildings, varnishing woodwork, painting street equipment, playground equipment, bridges, railings, fences, and filling, shellacking, and varnishing desks, tables, and furniture. May also perform simple spray painting, patching, and glazing. Mixes and thins paints and varnishes as instructed.

Requirements:

2. Massachusetts Driver's License may be required.
3. Must be a resident of the city of Boston.
