Maintenance Mechanic (Outside Machinist - Non-Automotive) - Full Time

The Maintenance and Facilities division at Disneyland Resort is seeking individuals with experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy, industrial machinery.

"Outside Machinists" (maintenance mechanics) work on Disneyland Resort attractions and ride vehicles. Responsibilities include performing functional checks, troubleshooting, overhauling, maintenance, repair, and alteration of systems and equipment, as well as conducting quality checks of completed work.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years old
• At least two years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial production facility

Schedule Availability:

Shifts are typically at night. Candidates must be available to work any day, including Sundays, holidays, and any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). Flexibility for days off is required.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and basic machinist tools
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with pump and shaft alignment
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency with PCs
• Ability to use fall protection equipment, boatswain’s chairs, power scaffolds, and positioning tools
• Experience with shop equipment such as drill presses, hydraulic presses, grinders, sanders, and band saws
• Experience with hoists, jacks, powered carts, man lifts, and lift trucks
• Ability to safely climb ladders, stairs, and structures, and work at heights up to 200 feet (for Disney California Adventure)
