As a Maintenance Mechanic at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, you will perform a variety of engineering and plant maintenance functions to ensure the efficient operation of the physical plant, hospital campus, and off-site locations.

Maintenance Mechanic - Engineering - Part-Time

This is a part-time position working weekends from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, Westchester County, NY.

Preferred Criteria:

• At least 3 years of related mechanical and electrical experience.
• Ability to transport equipment of varying sizes and weights throughout the facility and campus, and operate equipment as needed.
• Demonstrated knowledge and competence in the relevant area of practice.
• Clean and valid NYS driver’s license.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow directions and supervision.
• Awareness of the responsibilities involved in maintaining and servicing the physical plant.
• Ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff, visitors, and outside agencies.
