Job summary

Arconic’s Kawneer Cranberry team is seeking a maintenance professional for 12-hour rotating shifts (6p-6a) in Cranberry Township, PA. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot a variety of mechanical systems, and work with MP2 to log hours and order parts.

The role includes a $1,000 retention bonus and a robust benefits package starting day one. Responsibilities include improving maintenance programs, conducting root-cause analysis, and helping train junior staff while coordinating

• Technical degree and/or 5 years' experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Identify and look up parts in MP2 maintenance program.
• Use hand tools and other required equipment.
• Troubleshoot independently all types of mechanical equipment, hydraulics, mobile equipment, utilities and basic electrical controls.
• Repair equipment with little documentation.
• Provide improvement to preventative maintenance program by creating task lists.
• Drive root cause analysis and implementation of long term solutions.
• Use a drill press, band saw, lathe, grinder, test gauges, welding, burning and electrical equipment as needed.
• Make recommendations and updates to equipment which result in an improvement to technical downtime.
• Help train maintenance grade 10 employees.
• Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments as regarding work accomplishments and findings.
• Participate in L1 meetings, perform safety system requirements, log work hours and comments on work orders in MP2 maintenance software.

$27.95 - $32.54 per hour depending on experience. $1,000 Retention bonus!! This position works a 12-hour shift (6p - 6a).

For 12 hour shift, it rotates days on and off, week 1 work 36 hours then week 2 work 48 hours (mandatory overtime can occur on top of this).

Kawneer is a large commercial window manufacturing company who supplies windows and aluminum to companies nationwide. About The Team

Our Kawneer plant is located in Cranberry Township, PA which is about 30 minutes north of Pittsburgh, PA. This location has continuously built our products here since the early 1970s and we have a long legacy of products we’ve manufactured including the windows for the crown of the Statue of Liberty. Currently we supply commercial windows and aluminum sticks to companies nationwide. We are easily accessible being surrounding by many major highways as well as have many popular shopping, recreation, and dining options.
