Job description

Maintenance Mechanic Needed Now!!
Pay: Starting $31.97/hr.
Shifts: 2nd and 3rd Shift Schedule:

  • 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 3:00pm – 11:00pm (5 days/week, 8-hour shifts)
  • 3rd shift Mon-Fri 10:00pm - 6:30am
  • *FLEXIBLE FOR WEEKEND WORK AS WELL AS OVERTIME.

Location: Clackamas OR, 97015

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Maintain and repair conveyors, compressors, chillers, PLCs, and robotic systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and ensure maximum equipment efficiency.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and repair manuals to troubleshoot machinery.
  • Perform welding (mild and stainless steel), fabrication, and machine shop repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, Global Food Safety practices, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Maintain logs, complete work orders, and coordinate with vendors/contractors as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production performance.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and schematics.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, and working in confined spaces.
  • Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems is a plus!
  • LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License.
