Job Description

The position will perform a variety of skilled journey-level work to assist in the maintenance and operation of the various infrastructure systems within the University to ensure a suitable living, learning, and working environment in all University facilities. This position will assure the compliance of work with applicable codes, health, and safety regulations.

Education

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

Experience

• Five years of recent (within the last fifteen years) multiple trades experience including locks, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall, and other minor construction and repair skills in an educational or institutional environment.
• Completion of an approved apprenticeship program in multiple trades such as electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall, and other minor construction and repair skills.

Requirements

Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered.
