Job Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and repairing specialty equipment involved in metal heat treating processes.
• Learn to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from senior technicians.
• Support the maintenance team in daily operations and safety procedures.

Required Technical Skills

• Experience with AC & DC electrical power supplies and control systems.
• Knowledge of three-phase power supply and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with AC & DC motors, transformers, regulators, and power transmission.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic & pneumatic systems, lubrication, and heat dissipation methods.

Leadership and Safety Expectations

• Participate in ongoing safety, operational, and technical training programs.
• Work closely with the maintenance lead and support safety initiatives.
• Support and lead maintenance projects as needed, with a willingness to support a three-shift operation.
• Obtain forklift certification and assist in training new forklift operators.

Work Schedule and Requirements

The facility operates 24/5, primarily on day shifts with occasional support on off-shifts or weekends. All candidates must pass pre-employment drug, alcohol screening, and background checks. A valid driver's license is required.
