Position: Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician

Type: PRN (as needed)

Hours: Vary: M-F and Sat/Sun 8a - 5p

PRN rate: $27

We currently have an opening for a PRN (as needed) Maintenance Mechanic to cover our Lakeway Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital for on-call and weekend hours. Our hospital is located in Lakeway, Texas, in the scenic Hill Country on the southern shores of Lake Travis. Lakeway is a resort community about 25 miles west of downtown Austin, offering an outdoor lifestyle with a 65-mile-long lake, golf courses, tennis courts, marinas, a private airport, 100 acres of parkland with hiking and biking trails, and nearly 500 acres of greenbelts.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect, service, drywall repair, painting, and overhaul physical plant equipment as directed.
  • Perform duties with consideration for patient and employee safety.
  • Maintain and improve the environment to enhance the patient and employee experience.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Trade or vocational school background preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.
  • Current and valid state Driver's License required.
  • 10 years of experience in facility maintenance preferred.
