Position Details

This is a union position based at our Rochester, MI plant. The role involves following blueprints and manuals, operating tools and machinery, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Follow instructions to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment.
  • Operate company vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
  • Document all activities accurately.
  • Perform tests and plan work procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience or training related to pharmaceutical or similar equipment is preferred.
  • Appropriate college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of technical reading, documentation, and mathematical skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Reaching, handling, and feeling with hands.
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Close vision abilities required.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and chemicals.
  • Moderate noise environment.
Additional Information
  • Contract under USW Local 176.
  • Shift premiums may apply.
