Job summary

Horizon Health in Paris, IL is seeking a Maintenance Lead to perform advanced preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems across our rural health facility. This role requires hands-on expertise, the ability to read blueprints, and to work on 24/7 coverage as needed.

You will supervise maintenance tasks, coordinate with multiple trades, and ensure safety and reliability of boilers, BAS, and water treatment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or Refrigeration/HVAC.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Building Automation Systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Must possess computer skills related to BAS, online continuing education, preventative maintenance and work order systems.
• Must work outdoors in extreme heat and winter weather conditions.
• May be required to work off normal shifts; weekends and holidays for 24/7 coverage.
• Requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Boilers (hydronic & steam), domestic hot water heaters, refrigerators, freezers, coolers, roof top units.
• Maintain 24/7 staff coverage and coordinate with other trades.

Horizon Healthis a Critical Access, Rural Health Facility comprised of 25-inpatient beds located in Paris, IL & a multitude of outpatient clinic settings including Family Practice and Specialty Clinics in Paris and surrounding cities. Position Summary:

The maintenance lead is required to perform a variety of maintenance duties requiring an advance skill set for those particular duties such as; refrigeration associated work including refrigerant recovery; refrigerant charging; heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) controls; building automation systems (BAS); boilers operation and controls; water treatment systems; electrical system repair and maintenance (220 volt maximum).

Essential Functions (Responsibilities/Accountabilities):

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on air handler units; refrigeration equipment;
• boilers (both hydronic and steam generated); domestic hot water heaters; refrigerators; freezers, coolers and like equipment; roof top units, etc.

Pay Range:

Pay ranges from $23.855/hour to $38.168/hour (rate of pay is based on applicable years of experience)

Hours: Monday- Friday Days with rotating Weekends and Holidays
