Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to preserve equipment and facilities in our Houston warehouse. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and installations while following safety standards to ensure efficient operations.

You will conduct daily safety checks, document activities, and collaborate with a team to support reliable food distribution services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in maintenance and repair or related area preferred.
• Post-offer drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment.
• Conduct daily safety checks and follow established processes.
• Maintain facilities, buildings, and grounds per schedule and urgent needs.
• Keep maintenance area clean and complete required reports at shift end.
• Take on related duties as assigned.
