Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the Cambria West facility to maintain and repair food processing equipment, ensuring production goals are met. Responsibilities include repairing, overhauling, and installing plant equipment during off-production periods to prep for the next run.

Candidates should have strong maintenance skills, be detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with all organization levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain machinery, and equipment throughout the facility.
• Trouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as required.
• Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work.
• Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed.
• Monitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustments.
• Ensure that GMP’s, safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced.
