Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years experience preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate basic mechanical diagrams.
• Ability to work at a safe, efficient pace.
• Ability to read tape measure, including micrometer.
• Must be computer literate.
• Willingness to perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications.

Responsibilities

• Locates sources of problems by observing equipment operation.
• Aids in identifying recurrent maintenance items and communicates recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Follows Basic Safety Process: LOTO, SWP, Fire safety, and other protocols.
• Examines fit and finish of parts to detect imperfections.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts per procedures and directives.
• Installs special functional and structural parts/equipment.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Starts equipment to test performance.
• Troubleshoots related equipment as needed.
• Performs routine PMs and repairs on all equipment.
• Responds to maintenance calls promptly and helps team troubleshoot.
• Monitors equipment to ensure OEM standards are met.
