Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to safely inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain plant machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, consult drawings and manuals, and ensure equipment operates reliably and safely.

Responsibilities include identifying root causes, applying fixes, recording work and costs, and adhering to LO TO and safety protocols to protect personnel and assets. A permanent, full-time position is available.

Qualifications

• Safely diagnose electrical and mechanical problems on plant equipment.
• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Record maintenance and repair work, and document costs.
• Follow LO TO and other safety protocols during tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and plan fixes.
• Perform repairs or replacements of defective components and adjust devices.
• Document work performed and costs in the appropriate records.
• Identify process improvements to boost equipment reliability.
