The State of North Carolina is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for a multi-custody female correctional facility. This full-time position involves performing maintenance tasks, supervising staff, and ensuring the facility's systems are maintained safely and efficiently. A sign-on bonus of $7,000 is available for eligible candidates.
To be eligible for a sign-on bonus, the candidate must not have worked as a probationary, permanent, or time-limited employee in the last 12 months as an employee subject to the State Human Resources Act.
Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs preventive and routine corrective maintenance tasks to ensure that systems, equipment, and facilities are maintained safely and efficiently at a multi-custody female correctional facility. Responsibilities include:

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with State Benefits, working hours from Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with potential for additional hours as needed.
