Airlite Plastics in Nazareth, PA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep production machinery running safely and efficiently. The role covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems with emphasis on injection molding equipment and robotics.

You’ll diagnose and repair downtime causes, install and commission new equipment, and work withMaintenance, Engineering and Production to improve equipment performance and uptime. A strong team player with hands-on skills is essential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of five years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing/plastics preferred.
• Industrial electrical experience with 110–480V systems preferred.
• Experience maintaining/troubleshooting injection molding machinery and robotics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems; familiar with PLCs/VFDs.
• Able to read and interpret manuals, schematics, drawings; use precision measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills and maintenance documentation systems; able to maintain shop tools.
• Team player with strong problem solving, communication, and reliability.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and robotics.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic failures to minimize downtime.
• Dismantle, repair, replace, and reassemble defective machinery and components.
• Install and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems and related components.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery and robotics.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and electrical controls; assist with electrical repairs.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts and tools; weld or cut as needed.
• Maintain plant equipment and facility systems; complete maintenance work orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment following company policies.
