Job Description

• Maintain the organization's production equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs for equipment errors or failures.
• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment, following diagrams, manuals, and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.
• Reproduce or repair parts using welders or machine tools like lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders.
• Must have Bindery and Press experience.

Qualifications

• Skill in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, testing, and maintaining complex machinery.
• Deep knowledge of equipment control systems to diagnose malfunctions and distinguish between mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic failures.
• Ability to make precise adjustments for alignment and other parameters.
• Proficiency in measuring air and fluid pressures and understanding related mechanisms.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to isolate malfunctions.
• Knowledge of construction and assembly techniques for manufacturing or assembling complex parts or devices.
• Understanding of geometry, shop mathematics, and formulas to calculate angles, clearances, and other parameters.

Additional Information

The pay range for this role at the specified location is $29.30 to $42.25 per hour, with actual pay depending on education, skills, experience, performance, shift, and location. Compensation may include bonuses, overtime, shift differentials, and other pay types.
