Express Employment Professionals in Commerce, CA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to maintain and repair machinery at our facility. Monday–Friday, 6am–2:30pm, with a pay range of $27.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience.

Job involves troubleshooting motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment. Responsibilities include disassembly for parts replacement, adjusting components, lubrication, testing, and basic electrical repairs while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or completion of a trade school program.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues across equipment including motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools and production machines.
• Disassemble devices to access and replace defective parts; inspect wear.
• Adjust mechanical components and control instruments.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and install new components as needed.
• Lubricate and clean mechanical components to maintain functionality.
• Conduct tests on repaired machinery to ensure proper operation.
• Initiates purchase orders for replacement parts and equipment.
• Perform electrical repairs using test equipment to ensure electrical systems function properly.
