Job summary

USA Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Gulf Coast facilities across Mobile campuses. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, minor electrical work, and HVAC tasks to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable hospital operations.

Qualified applicants have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of building, plumbing, or mechanical equipment maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years experience in the maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, or mechanical equipment.
• Experience may be substituted year-for-year for the required education.
• Specified positions may require a valid driver’s license and insurance-qualifying driving record.

Responsibilities

• Abides by and enforces all compliance requirements and policies ethically.
• Assists with orientation of new employees as assigned.
• Installs, maintains, operates, and repairs electrical and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools.
• Maintains and repairs lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems and components.
• Operates power tools and equipment such as lathes, drill press, welding rigs.
• Documents and reports maintenance data and completes requisitions for materials.
