Medxcel is seeking a skilled facilities technician at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

This 2nd shift, full-time role supports the Facilities department by maintaining and repairing critical building systems. The position emphasizes preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related mechanical systems, with opportunities for growth and hands-on problem solving within a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of trade school with 2 years of experience.
• 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Specialized knowledge in locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical systems and equipment for assigned facilities.
• May be assigned more complex assignments that include multiple systems or cross-departmental interaction to complete the maintenance or repair.
• Specialized knowledge and expertise inlocksmith,HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems are required to perform a variety of duties.
• Repairing heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, ventilation systems and equipment.
• Installation and maintenance of motors and of specialized equipment.
