Job description

Overview

Under the direction of the Supervisor, assists in maintaining shredding equipment and other facility assets to maintain production.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections of any and all equipment, including but not limited to: conveyors, shredders, supply chain, outlets.
• Regular intensive cleaning/up-keep of company assets.
• Regular preventative maintenance which may include housekeeping, monthly safety inspections, fire safety, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, fans, lights, plumbing, storm drain cleaning.
• Daily logging activities, inventory, and other essential measurable assignments and information.
• Practice safe measures with adequate personal protective equipment PPE.
• Regularly practice machine shop tooling skills such as but not limited to welding, plasma cutting, grinding, drilling, milling, and other power and pneumatic tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays
• 40 hours per week, overtime is required
