Medxcel is seeking a skilled facilities technician for St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. This full-time, second-shift role in the Facilities department involves maintaining and repairing mechanical systems across lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of trade school with 2 years of experience.
• 4 years of related experience and/or equivalent education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical systems and equipment for assigned facilities.
• May be assigned more complex assignments that include multiple systems or cross-departmental interaction to complete the maintenance or repair.
• Specialized knowledge and expertise in locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Repairing heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, ventilation systems and equipment.
• Installation and maintenance of motors and of specialized equipment.
