This full‑time, on‑site role diagnoses mechanical issues, conducts preventive maintenance, replaces worn parts, and adjusts equipment to meet daily targets. You will work with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, welding and basic electrical systems, document activities, and coordinate repairs with production teams, upholding safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to interpret PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics diagrams and troubleshoot.
• Welding experience and safe operation of lifts and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain repair logs per federal, state, and company requirements.
• Repair or maintain operating condition of industrial machinery.
• Repair or replace broken components.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts and make repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions using testing devices like voltmeters.

Role Description

The Maintenance Mechanic II role is a full-time, on-site position located in Haven, KS. This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, replacing parts, and adjusting machinery to meet production requirements to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Mechanic II will also document maintenance activities, coordinate with production teams to schedule repairs, and follow safety and compliance standards. This position may involve working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, welding, and basic electrical systems, as well as assisting with equipment installations and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain required repair logs on all equipment maintained per federal, state, and company requirements.
• Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
• Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools and other special equipment to complete project
• Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
• Analyze down equipment and specify repair parts to be ordered.
• Study blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.
• Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble new equipment.

Skills

• Extensive experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities.
• Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, and pneumatics interpretation and ability to troubleshoot.
• Skilled in welding techniques applicable to welding standards.
• Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely.
• Mechanical presses, controls, diagnostics, LOTO blueprints, and electrical knowledge
