Wayfair is seeking a Mechanic I in Lancaster, TX to maintain material handling equipment and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations. The role involves troubleshooting, PMs, and repairs on conveyors, sorters, and dock systems, with a focus on minimizing downtime.

You will work in a non-climate controlled environment, handle lifting up to 75 lbs, and may be required to work overtime. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, with potential for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial maintenance or relevant certification(s).
• Proficient with hand & power tools and electrical testing equipment, including PLCs.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a non-climate controlled, noisy environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and adapt to shifts.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose issues on conveyor systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on PMs and Powered Industrial Vehicles.
• Carry out general facilities tasks (carpentry, plumbing, cleaning) as directed.
• Operate aerial lifts and other equipment safely.
• Document work orders and maintain compliance with OSHA and safety procedures.
