Job summary

  • Able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work orders.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.
  • Conduct daily facility rounds to identify issues and safety hazards.
  • Monitor building automation and control systems for efficient operations.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies.
  • Maintain maintenance records and communicate status to management.
  • Support safety programs and comply with policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management and team on daily tasks and special projects.
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedules and provide emergency response.

Pay

Pay: $37.17 / hour The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pumps, fans, and other building systems and equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.
  • Conduct daily facility rounds to identify operational issues, safety hazards, leaks, temperature concerns, and other maintenance needs.
  • Monitor and maintain building automation and control systems to support efficient facility operations.
  • Respond promptly to service requests, equipment failures, and emergency situations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status, repair recommendations, and operational concerns to management.
  • Support facility safety programs and comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with facility management and other maintenance team members to complete daily assignments and special projects.
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedules and provide emergency response support as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building automation systems.
  • Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Proficiency using maintenance management systems and basic computer applications preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, and perform physical maintenance activities including bending, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces.
  • Must be available for after-hours, weekend, and emergency call-in assignments as needed.
