Maintenance Mechanic I
Pay Rate/Range: $16.50
Location: Onsite in Atlanta, GA
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repair
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and consult senior technicians as needed.
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks such as changing water filters, rebuilding valves and soda fountains, unclogging and replacing soda lines.
- Clean, sanitize, and inspect equipment and components (e.g., tanks, pipes, diffusers).
- Assist with equipment installations.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repair work.
- Manage Bag-In-Box (BIB) products.
- Perform duties in accordance with safety standards and company policies.
- Complete PM logs and incident reports.
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by management.
Inventory Control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory areas.
- Operate forklifts for moving and organizing inventory.
- Rotate products using FIFO methods and check expiration dates.
- Receive and store deliveries accurately.
- Conduct weekly inventory counts and report shortages or out-of-stock items.
- Verify supplier paperwork and resolve order discrepancies.
- Restock consumable supplies in Taste-It area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively (reasonable accommodations provided).
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and day/evening shifts.
- Comfortable working in varied temperature environments.
- 1+ year experience with vending machines, fountain equipment, Freestyle machines, or warehouse operations.
Skills & Abilities
- Basic computer skills (Excel, email, Word).
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Positive, guest-friendly demeanor in high-traffic public spaces.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in warehouse operations and familiarity with safety best practices is a plus.
Additional details:
- 7 days per week availability, 4 days on, 3 days off.
- Work days are 10.5 hours, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Weekend work scheduled either Saturday or Sunday, but not both.
- Start times between 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM; end times from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
- On days closing at 9:00 PM, scheduled half shifts (opening or closing).
