California Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the Century City, Los Angeles area. The role covers general building and mechanical maintenance, ensuring safety for patients and staff, with a day shift from 7am to 3:30pm and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with HVAC.
• Current and valid Driver's License required.
• Trade or vocational school background preferred.
• HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical certifications a plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.
• Current Black Seal License preferred (six month option as a condition of employment).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment including HVAC, electrical, pumps and filters.
• Inspect, service, repair, and overhaul plant equipment while ensuring safety.
• Install and repair plumbing, piping and tubing; wire motors.
• Install and repair electrical controls, motor controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
• Report problems and malfunctions to ensure proper operation.
