Responsibilities

• Work as an Ink Production Employee as qualified and needed per business requirements in all responsibilities of the Ink Combination position.
• Help drive plant and offsite blend plant, safety, and operational improvement efforts.
• Provide assistance in maintaining, operating, and repairing plant equipment, facilities, and capital projects.
• Accurately prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, manufacturing, customer service, and sales support.
• Communicate effectively with Production Supervisor and Lead Maintenance Mechanic through active participation in meetings.
• Assist in coordinating with contractors and vendors as needed.
• Contribute to capital planning and give input on equipment purchases and modifications.
• Support waste and process improvement initiatives using structured problem solving and employee engagement.
• Lead or direct team members for project planning and completion at the plant and offsite locations.
• Willing to work overtime and flexible hours, including alternative shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Position Details

Title: Maintenance Mechanic Helper

Pay Rate: $29.86 per hour

Schedule: 8am-4pm Monday-Friday, some overtime required

Location: 5570 SW Western Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005

Minimum Requirements

• Goal-oriented, self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Excellent attendance record.
• Willingness to travel 5% for projects and training.
• Safety-conscious, with adherence to safety policies.
• Experience with medium to heavy machinery preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Preferred: plumbing skills and electrician background.
