Marymount University is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to perform installation, diagnosis, and repair of building systems. The successful candidate will carry out daily inspections, manage service work orders, and need substantial knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

JOB SUMMARY
Performs installation, diagnosis, repair and replacement of building interior and exterior systems to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and various other items in the building. Assists with other mechanics as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Trade school or one year college.
Experience 5 years of related experience. Knowledge of building repairs, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. Some maintenance functions involve elements of physical risk or stress that require extreme care and safety precautions.
Licenses or Certifications HVAC, boiler operations, contractors licenses desired.
Financial Responsibility No direct accountability for financial transactions.
Supervision None.
Special Knowledge Knowledge of basic computer operations. Operation and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, ladders, vehicles (trucks, gator, operate) and HVAC. Construction, electrical and plumbing terminology. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and administrators at all levels of the University in performing maintenance duties.
