Job Summary
Responsible for maintenance of buildings, facilities, grounds and light equipment. Performs carpentry, electrical, plumbing and general repairs on buildings, fixtures, mechanical/HVAC equipment or machinery. Prepares vacant units for new residents. Follows HACB Maintenance Plan and established procedures. Operates as “on-call” maintenance worker on a rotating basis as assigned to cover emergency situations after hours and on weekends.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED High School graduate, or GED, or possess a vocational technical certification beyond high school or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. Five (5) years’ experience or training in building construction or maintenance, or in the repair or maintenance of mechanical equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
