Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic (FT 3p-11p) Location: Allentown (Operated by County of Lehigh)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a nursing home setting. This role is crucial in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and comfortable for our residents, directly impacting the quality of care we provide.

Compensation

• Base Pay: 20.76
• Shift Differential: Add $2.00/hr for the 3-11 shift
• Weekend Differential: Add another $2.00/hr working on weekends
• Schedule: Full-time (weekend/holiday rotation) 3p-11p
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and structural systems to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
• Operate and maintain various pieces of equipment.
• General maintenance with some plumbing, electrical and hvac tasks.
• Interact professionally with nursing facility patients, families, employees, and visitors when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and structural maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience in equipment and facility maintenance or repair (2-3 years preferred).
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy tools and materials.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license issued by the Commonwealth of PA.
• Education equivalent to completion of 12th grade.
