Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Northlake, TX. You will schedule and perform maintenance on forklifts, conveyors, and facility systems, ensuring reliability and safety.

This role includes preventative maintenance, inventory management, and building upkeep across shifts. Candidates should have 2+ years of facility maintenance experience, 2-5 years equipment maintenance, and a clean driving policy record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Pass Department of Transportation exam.
• Pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience.
• 6 months related experience.
• 2-5 years equipment maintenance experience.
• 1 year of fleet experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily maintenance work.
• Perform repairs on forklifts, conveyors, maintenance equipment and other warehouse power equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs on all machines and equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms for immediate maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work performed both internally and externally is performed to company standards.
• Monitor vehicle condition and performance to ensure driver compliance of company driving policies.
• Manage parts inventory at the most economic level for efficient operation of the system.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Maintain HVAC system.
• Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.
