Job summary

PURIS Grains in Harrold, SD is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment. You will support plant facilities, follow safety rules, and perform preventive maintenance essential to uptime and product quality.

The ideal candidate has a background in manufacturing, experience with grain handling equipment, and PLC familiarity. Expect competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for shift incentives and attendance rewards.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Technical School graduate preferred.
Must read, write and speak English.
7+ years of manufacturing experience preferred; PLC experience is a plus.
Experience with grain handling / processing equipment.
Knowledge of power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Observe OSHA and facility safety rules including PPE usage.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and keep work areas clean and organized.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and perform scheduled maintenance.
