Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in food processing with troubleshooting and repair of production equipment with sophisticated control systems
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to train other maintenance associates
• Self-directed work team participation
• Proficient on Rich’s SCADA system
• General mechanical, electrical and logic principle knowledge
• Basic plumbing, metalworking and facilities/building maintenance knowledge
• Awareness and adherence to safety guidelines (GMP and Food Safety)
• Understanding machine operating and adjusting procedures
• Ability to contribute to Production Improvement and temporary teams

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses maintenance failures.
• Uses assembly drawings, P&ID’s and manuals to tune equipment and apply electrical/logic principles.
• Trains new Associates and team members on required skill sets for Maintenance.
• Maintains work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP and Safety guidelines.
• Operates Rich’s SCADA system and completes appropriate paperwork.
• Will be required to work with and train operations Associates on basic equipment troubleshooting and assist operations as needed with production.
• Performs any other related miscellaneous duties assigned by Team Leader.
