Job summary

Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our facilities, equipment and operations running safely and reliably in Oklahoma City. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support safety and regulatory requirements to ensure daily operations continue with minimal disruption.

The role requires at least two years of maintenance experience and knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program is required.
At least two years of maintenance, facility or skilled trades experience is required.
Experience reading schematics and equipment documentation is required.

Responsibilities

Inspect equipment to identify concerns early and perform preventative maintenance.
Complete preventive maintenance work orders on schedule and record results.
Maintain refrigeration, freezer and cooler equipment to protect food quality.
Repair appliances, forklifts, dock equipment, kitchen equipment and facility systems.
Service HVAC/R systems to maintain safe working conditions.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control issues using schematics and manuals.
