Job summary

Valley-Fab-Corporatio is seeking a Maintenance/Mechanic to maintain equipment throughout the facility, including vehicles, forklifts, and fabrication shop machinery. The role requires following safety procedures, accurate record-keeping, and the ability to work 40 hours weekly with overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in metal processing and at least 3 years on heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent highly desired.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the metal processing industry with metal fabrication equipment.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing light and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
• Must be licensed/certified to operate industrial equipment like forklifts, booms, etc.
• Comfort with reading manuals and following detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment, forklifts, and vehicles operate at optimal performance.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and winterization procedures.
• Perform mechanical repairs on production machines and heavy equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work, parts usage, and repair times.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe; report defects promptly.
• Utilize fleet maintenance software to document repairs and maintenance.
