Job summary

Upper Perkiomen YMCA in Pennsburg, PA is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to plan and perform upkeep on buildings, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, and fitness equipment. You will help ensure a safe, clean environment and support a positive member experience.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience across several trades, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Certification is a plus; leadership and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a high school or technical high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and 3-5 years of building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing and HVAC trades; certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and utilize a PC; ability to organize projects.
• Strong leadership skills and passion for member service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform maintenance projects (walls, doors, locks, windows, floors, stairs, carpets, tiles, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, fitness equipment).
• Coordinate projects with staff; ensure safe work sites and minimize member disruption.
• Maintain grounds; operate lawn and snow removal equipment as needed.
