Job summary

Pyramid Management Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our center running smoothly. You will perform interior and exterior repairs, handle preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day operations to protect asset value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in general building maintenance or equivalent trade background (BOCES training or similar in general HVAC/maintenance is highly preferred).
• Solid basic plumbing skills and comfort handling routine HVAC preventative maintenance.
• A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and zero supervisory experience required—just a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Keep Operations Running Smoothly: Perform interior and exterior repairs, including drywall installation, painting, flooring, masonry patching, roofing, parking decks and structural touch-ups.
• Preventative Maintenance: Maintain crucial facility HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems (sprinklers, extinguishers) to prevent downtime.
• Customer & Team Support: Provide friendly assistance to customers on-site and maintain clear communication with your supervisor regarding equipment's health.
• Contractor Liaison: Assist and coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are underway.
