Job summary

UFP Industries in Windsor, Colorado is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform preventative maintenance and electrical repair on machinery, equipment, tools, and buildings. You will support the Maintenance Department and follow diagrams, manuals, and safety procedures.

The role requires 1+ year in machine maintenance, 2+ years electrical experience, and a solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and control systems. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of machine repair experience in maintenance.
• 2+ years experience in electrical work and maintenance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, control tech, and welding.
• Ability to use voltage meter to test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools, and building.
• Assist in repair of woodworking machinery and forklifts per manuals.
• Perform electrical repairs and setup in various settings.
• Diagnose electrical issues with testing and read electrical prints.
• Order parts and maintain records of repairs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and participate in safety programs.
• Prepare various reports as required.
