Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Northbrook, Illinois. This role will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, solid electrical knowledge, and experience in a manufacturing setting. PLC exposure is a plus, and candidate must be willing to work shifts including overtime.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical repair skills.
• Solid electrical knowledge with troubleshooting ability.
• PLC experience preferred; may be considered for Controls Technician roles.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety protocols.
• Support production teams by minimizing downtime through efficient problem-solving.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency.
