Job Description

Maintenance mechanics install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include building and maintaining mechanical systems, using various hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receive work orders with drawings, specifications, and instructions for scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, and inspections.
  2. Read and interpret drawings (Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic).
  3. Repair equipment/components without drawings or instructions when necessary.
  4. Perform work requiring knowledge of mechanical principles and equipment operation.
  5. Adhere to safety regulations and report hazards.
Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial automation or a degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field.
  • Proficiency with electrical and electronic tools and gauges.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of hand tools, welding (Mig required, Tig and Stick preferred), pipe threading, and other maintenance tools.
  • General manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work with supervision and team members.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, kneel, and work in various positions.
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Heavy lifting, manual dexterity, stamina, and working in noisy environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, and ability to read schematics.
  • Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
