Job summary

kdc/one is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep production lines running and drive performance. You’ll own equipment performance, minimize downtime, and mentor a growing production team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and drive systems, while using CMMS data to guide preventative maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and drive systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance tracking.
• Knowledge of GMP and OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to train and support others on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to meet operational demands.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and support critical maintenance needs across the facility.
• Identify equipment issues through observation and performance metrics.
• Perform preventative and periodic maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Partner with Reliability Mechanics to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
• Reduce process losses by improving settings, adjustments, and standards.
• Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives (TPM, loss elimination).
• Train and coach Line Leads and Operators on equipment standards and autonomous maintenance.
