Job summary

Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support line change-overs on a manufacturing or distribution site in Houston.

The role uses a CMMS to track repairs and requisition parts, with safety as a top priority and opportunities to work with ASRS systems where installed. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and 0–2 years of related experience; Electrical or Vocational Certification is

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups, and record repairs, maintenance, parts used, and fabricate parts as needed.
• Utilize CMMS for requisitioning parts and materials.
• Maintain ASRS when available in plant and distribution centers.
• Prioritize safety in operations and work execution.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Responsibilities:

• The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
• As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts
• The Maintenance Mechanic utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Maintenance Mechanics will also perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system
• Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
