Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a General Maintenance Worker for the La Crosse campus. This 40-hour, Monday–Friday role runs 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and focuses on maintaining, repairing and operating Gundersen equipment across the Onalaska/La Crosse area.

Candidates should have a strong maintenance background, mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills. Starting wage is up to $31.31 per hour with experience, plus an additional $1.50 per hour weekend differential pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• General maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and operate building equipment for Gundersen facilities in the Onalaska/La Crosse area.
• Support daily facilities operations and respond to maintenance needs as required.
