Job Duties & Essential Functions:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as deemed necessary by management.
- Always maintain a “safety first” attitude. Follow established OSHA and company safety practices and policies (e.g., LOTO, GMP, ARC Flash, Proper PPE practices, Housekeeping).
- Understand mechanical, electrical, PLCs, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles.
- Diagnose and repair machinery related to manufacturing, including but not limited to: plastic molding machines, auxiliary equipment, robots.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions, consulting blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as needed.
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers and robots.
- Work directly with outside vendors to order spare parts and supplies.
- Perform and/or assist with weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks.
- Repair air leaks on equipment.
- Perform and/or assist with weekly, monthly, and annual EHS inspections.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Comply with GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers, and government agencies.
- Support other teams with open tasks and projects.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED, with a minimum of five (5) years related manufacturing maintenance experience or training.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and productively with little supervision.
- Effective communication of equipment malfunctions and corrective actions.
- Team player with respect for plant-wide collaboration.
- Maintain a professional demeanor.
- Support in keeping the facility and equipment clean and well-maintained.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Must provide own basic tools.

- Active multi-tasker, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Additional Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of technical processing, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with operating press machinery, Apple iPad applications, and working in warm/cool temperatures.
