Maintenance Mechanic (Cut Fresh) (2nd Shift)

Cut Fresh, LLC, the premier supplier of fresh cut produce in Wisconsin, is looking to fill a full-time position for a Maintenance Mechanic for second shift. You will have the opportunity to join a team dedicated to providing our customers with products and services second to none in our industry. Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment.
  • Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
  • Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
  • Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
  • Complete repairs and parts replacements.
  • Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment.
  • Repair, install, adjust, or maintain machines and systems both inside and outside the Plant.
  • Complete written records of work performed.

Requirements and Specialized Skills:

  • Valid driver's license at the time of hire and throughout employment.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
  • Successful trade or vocational school completion.
  • Associate’s Degree in mechanical, electrical or engineering specialties (preferred).
  • 2 years’ experience in one or more of the building trades.
  • Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended period of time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to act competently in emergencies.
  • Working knowledge of two or more trades.
