MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY)

$5,949.00 - $7,136.00 per Month
New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Building Trades, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairs to plumbing, heating, water and sewer systems, does electrical maintenance and repair work, repairs automotive equipment, does miscellaneous minor building construction and repair work.

Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
