Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. – HomeGoods Distribution Center in Fort Worth is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic. You will maintain and repair distribution center equipment and systems, read blueprints, and contribute to safe, efficient operations across conveyors, MHE, HVAC, and dock equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience preferred in a maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and welding.
• Reads and understands basic blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the safe, efficient, and proper operations of DC equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting and repair of equipment related to operations and facility maintenance (conveyor systems, MHE, HVAC, air compressors, dock equipment, etc.).
• Constructs, installs, repair, and maintains equipment.
• Independently and as directed, completes tests, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintains maintenance related logs and documentation.
