Job summary

Magna International Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on CNCs, stamping presses, and related equipment across Magna Powertrain facilities.

You will install new equipment, rebuild components, and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety and quality standards. The role requires five years of maintenance experience, knowledge of CNCs and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and welding proficiency.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman may be preferred.
Five years minimum experience in machine maintenance and repair and electrical work.
Knowledge of CNCs, stamping presses and related machinery.
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical.
Experience with MIG and arc welding and cutting torches.
Ability to read hydraulic and lube schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CNCs, presses, and related equipment across plants.
Heavy machine repair of presses.
Perform Preventive Maintenance on equipment.
Install new equipment per blueprints and layout schematics.
Rebuild/refurbish equipment including CNCs, presses, conveyors, and transfers.
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and order in the maintenance area and at machines.
